Victorian Stationery letter box

Beautiful antique letter box from the Victorian era. The box is made of wood, with black lacquer and inlaid with small pieces of mother-of-pearl and finally decorated with gold paint. A typical technique from the Victorian era. This box is special because of the arched lid and the beautiful intact interior, which is covered with paper with a frivolous pattern. The box is in very good condition, especially considering its age.
